Heard Shri N Sarkar, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Ms. MD Bora, learned Standing Counsel, Transport Department.
A challenge was made with regard to leasing out of Guwahati-Umananda River Cruise Commercial ferry service for the period of 2020-2022.
Ms. Bora, learned Standing Counsel has placed before this Court a copy of the communication dated 12.05.2022 along with a letter dated 09.05.2022 wherefrom it appears that the approved bidder was allowed to run the ferry service on daily basis till the completion of leasing of the aforesaid ferry service or until further order whichever is earlier.
In that view of the matter, the writ petition stands closed on being infructuous. A copy of the communication dated 12.05.2022 along with letter dated 09.05.2022 is made a part of the records.
