Heard Mr. A.K. Bhuyan, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. K. Konwar, learned Additional Advocate General, Assam, appearing for all the respondents.

The petitioner’s prayer in the writ petition was for a change to be made to the appellate authority and to have his appeal dated 15.11.2021 be disposed at an early date.

Mr. K. Konwar, learned Additional Advocate, General, Assam submits that the appellate authority has been changed and that the petition can be disposed of at an early date.

On considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, it is clear that the new appellate authority can decide the petitioner’s appeal dated 15.11.2021, which is a challenge made to the order dated NIL dismissing the petitioner from service.

In view of the above, the appellate authority is directed to examine the petitioner’s appeal and take a decision on the same within a period of 3(three) months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
