Heard Mr. C. Goswami, learned counsel for the review petitioner. Also heard Mr. R.C. Saikia, learned counsel for the respondent No.5/writ petitioner.
The present review petition has been filed seeking review of the order passed by this Court on 18.09.2019 in WP(C) No.7010/2019. In the said writ petition, the petitioner had sought for a direction for handing over of relevant documents by the respondent No.5 to the petitioner in respect of the office of the Principal of Bezera Anchalik Senior Secondary School. As regards that plea this Court had directed that the said grievance of the petitioner could be examined by the State authorities by passing appropriate orders.
It has been now submitted that in the meantime, the present respondent No.5/writ petitioner has retired. This Court is of the opinion that the direction issued by this Court in the said order would be relevant so long as the petitioner was holding the post on in-charge bassi. Now that the writ petitioner has retired from service, the direction issued by this Court on 18.09.2019 of which review is sought for, is no more necessary and hence this review petition itself has become infructuous.
