Heard Mr. M.A.I. Hussain, learned counsel for the petitioners.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the writ petition was filed by the petitioners since they were apprehensive of being harassed by the police on the ground of certain criminal case being lodged against their son as the police had been frequently visiting their residence. However, now the police have stopped coming to their residence and, in that view of the matter, the writ petition may be closed with liberty granted to the petitioners to approach appropriate forum, if occasion so arises.
In view of the above submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners, the writ petition is closed with liberty granted to the petitioners, as prayed for.
