Heard Mr. A. Roshid, learned counsel for the petitioner.
By this contempt petition, the petitioner is alleging non-compliance of the order dated 10.08.2022 passed in WP (C) No. 1783/2022.
The relevant portion of the order read as under:-
“5. Considering the limited grievance raised, it is directed that the recommendation of the DLC, Goalpara in favour of the petitioner in its meeting dated 10.03.2017 be placed before the next available meeting of SLC for its consideration. We have already taken note that the DLC, Goalpara had identified a vacancy of the year 2015 and recommended the petitioner.
The writ petition is allowed to the extent indicated above.”
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the DLC recommending the case of the petitioner, the SLC is yet to consider the case of

the petitioner inasmuch as the SLC is yet to have its meeting.
In that view of the matter the concerned authority is directed to place the case of the petitioner immediately before the SLC for consideration, thereafter the SLC shall have its next meeting within 3(three) weeks, from the date of the receipt of a copy of this order.
With the aforesaid directions, this contempt case stands disposed of.
