Heard Mr. J Laskar, learned counsel for the applicant.
Cont.Cas(C)/557/2020 was instituted alleging willful and deliberate violation of the order dated 20.11.2019 in WP(C)/5199/2016.
In the contempt petition, the Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Assam and the Director of Secondary Education, Assam were arrayed as respondents contemnors.
It is stated that the earlier officers in the meantime are not in office and presently it is being held by Sri B. Kalyan Chakravarthy as the Principal Secretary in the Department and Ms. Mamata Hojai as the Director.
Both the present incumbents have been informed about the order dated 20.11.2019 in WP(C)/5199/2016.
In the circumstance, we allow the application for impleadment and implead Sri B. Kalyan Chakravarthy, Principal Secretary to the Government of Assam in the Secondary Education Department as the respondent contemnor no. 3 and Ms. Mamata Hojai, Director of Secondary Education, Assam as respondent contemnor no. 4 in Cont.Cas(C)/557/2020.
Registry to incorporate necessary corrections in the cause title of Cont.Cas(C)/557/2020.
I.A. stands allowed as indicated above.
