Heard Mr. R. Ali, learned counsel for the accused petitioner as well as Mr. B. B. Gogoi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State respondent.
By this petition under section 439 Cr.P.C., the accused petitioner namely, Hamidur Rahman , has prayed for grant of bail, in connection with Hatigaon P.S. Case No. 371/2022 under Section 13/14 of the Assam Game & Betting Act, 1970 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 6567/2022 .

The matter relates to illegal playing of teer gambling in mobile phone.
Considering the length of detention of the accused petitioner in judicial custody since 07.08.2022 and also the fact that the similarly situated co-accused persons have already been granted bail by this Court, vide order, dated 27.06.2022, it is provided that the accused/petitioner, named above, shall be released on bail of Rs. 20,000/- with one surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup (M), Guwahati on the following conditions:-
(i) That the accused/petitioner shall cooperate with the
Investigating Officer as and when required; and
(ii) That the accused/petitioner shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer; and
(iii) That the accused/petitioner shall not hamper in the investigation, or tamper with the evidence of the case.
With the above directions, the bail application stands disposed of.
