The learned APP has produced the case diary. The learned counsel for the petitioner has prayed for interim pre-arrest bail, which is opposed by the learned APP.

On a perusal of the case diary it appears that the investigation carried out so far implicates the petitioner of making an attempt to sexually assault the informant. However, the case diary also indicates that the informant had refused to undergo medical examination.

In view of above, the Court of the considered opinion that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required. Hence, the interim bail granted by order dated 04.10.2021 is made absolute on the same conditions and as a further condition for grant of bail, the petitioner, namely, Mannan Sheikh @ Md. Mannan Ali, is directed to once again appear before the IO within 10(ten) days from today.
