Heard Mr. R Ali, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. AR Tahbildar, learned counsel for the respondents No. 1 and 2 being the authorities under the Higher Education Department of the Government of Assam.
The petitioner without describing his locus-standi in the present writ petition has assailed certain illegalities that may have been meted by the respondent authorities, the beneficiary of which is the respondent No. 5. Accordingly, the petitioner assails the alleged illegal benefits that have been given to the respondent No. 5.
The petitioner, on being unable to satisfy the locus-standi or in other words as to what legal right of the petitioner has been violated because of such illegal acts, Mr. R Ali, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to file appropriate application as may be admissible under the law.
Prayer for withdrawal allowed. Liberty granted.
Writ petition stands closed on being withdrawn.
