Heard Ms. S. Ahom, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A. Chetri, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. B. Sarma, learned Standing Counsel, Railways.
It is submitted by Ms. S. Ahom, learned counsel that during pendency of this writ petition, the respondent railways returned the earnest money amounting to Rs.23,13,900/- to the petitioner on 13.09.2021 and as such she is not pressing this writ petition.
Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
