Heard Mr. M Saikia, learned counsel for the petitioner. Ms. K Phukan, learned State counsel had received instruction from the concerned Officer-in-Charge of Kamalpur P.S. wherefrom it is apparent that the concerned Investigating Officer SI, Sukumar Talukdar in Kamalpur P.S. case No. 208/2018 under Section 279 IPC committed suicide on 12.06.2020 and as such the Kamalpur P.S. case No. 208/2018 under Section 279 IPC is treated as backlog in the concerned police station
In view of the same the petitioner shall approach the concerned Officer-in-Charge, Kamalpur P.S. whereafter the required papers shall be handed over to the petitioner so far the accident information report is concerned.
With the said observation and direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
The instruction dated 05.03.2021 received by Ms. Phukan is kept on record.
