Heard Mr. R M Deka, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Ms. N M Sarma, learned counsel for the respondent.

This interlocutory application is for incorporating the correction in the order dated 23.09.2021 in WP(C)/4720/2021. In paragraph 2 of the said order, it was provided that the petitioner therein had participated in the selection process for the post of Principal of Pestirpar High Maddrassa as per the advertisement dated 25.08.2017.

A correction is sought that it ought to have been for the post of Headmaster as per the said advertisement.

The paragraph 2 of the order dated 23.09.2021 passed in WP(C)/4720/2021 be now read as follows:

“2. The petitioner, who had completed his B.Ed degree in the year 1999 from the Dhubri Post Graduate Teachers Training College under Gauhati University, had participated in the selection process for the post of Headmaster of Pestirpar High Maddrassa as per the advertisement dated 25.08.2017. The School Selection Committee pursuant to such process, prepared a panel of three names, wherein the name of the petitioner is at Sl.No.1 in order of merit. The petitioner is aggrieved to the extent that although being selected, no appointment order is forthcoming in favour of the petitioner. Upon enquiry, the petitioner has been informed that the appointment letter is not issued as there is a doubt on the authenticity of his B.Ed degree obtained in the year 1999.”

I.A. stands allowed in the above terms.

If any further correction is required which may have any material hearing, liberty remains to the petitioner to approach again, if so advised.

The order dated 23.09.2021 in WP(C)/4720/2021 be now read by incorporating the aforesaid corrections.
