Heard Mr. KN Choudhury, learned senior counsel for the applicants. Also heard Mr. SN Sarma, learned senior counsel for respondent Nos.1 to 4 and Mr. G Uzir, learned senior counsel for respondent Nos.5 to 8.
The applicants have filed a writ appeal against the impugned order dated 19.03.2019 passed by the learned Single Judge in WP(C) 1584/2017 and in a batch of writ petitions. The appeal is accompanied by a delay condonation application praying for condoning the delay of 5 days in filing the writ appeal.
Learned counsel for the respondents have very fairly submitted that they have no objection if the delay is condoned.
Accordingly, in the interest of justice, the delay in filing the writ appeal is condoned.
Registry to register and number the appeal.
