None appears for the petitioner on call.
This Court on the earlier occasions had observed that the set of counsel who are representing the respondents had withdrawn from the case. Shri B. D. Das, learned Sr. Counsel assisted by Ms. J. Rongpipi, learned counsel however by drawing the attention of the Court to the affidavit filed has submitted that the electric line in question was constructed in the year 1960 and was commissioned in the year 1965 and therefore the prayer made for shifting of the line is not only hugely belated but wholly unjustified.
Be that as it may, in absence of the petitioner, this Court would be reluctant to make any observation on the merits of the case. However, this Court is of the view that the writ petition needs to be dismissed for want of prosecution.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
