Heard Mr. R. Goswami, learned counsel for the appellant as well as Mr. M.H. Choudhury, learned counsel for respondents No.1 to 6. None appears on call for respondent No.7.

The learned counsel for both sides have jointly submitted that an out of Court settlement has been reached between the appellant and the respondent No.1 to 6 and the appellant has agreed to pay an amount of Rs.6,62,000/- as full and final settlement of the claim of the respondents No.1 to 6.

Accordingly, as an interim award of Rs.3,08,000/- has already been paid, the appellant shall pay the balance amount of Rs.3,54,000/- to the respondent No.1 to 6. A communication dated 17.12.2019, produced by the learned counsel for the appellant is kept as a part of record.

In view of the said settlement, the appellant shall pay the balance compromised amount of Rs.3,54,000/- to the respondents No.1 to 6 within a period of 4 (four) weeks.

On a proof of payment being produced before the Registry, the statutory deposit made by the appellant be returned.

Accordingly, this appeal stands disposed of.
