As indicated above, the petitioner projected one Surendra Nath Sarkar as her father, which name appeared in the Voter Lists of 1971 along with her mother Kasturi Bala Sarkar at Exhibit-2, P.S. Bijni, district- Goalpara under 41 Bijni LAC. However, no voter lists were produced and exhibited reflecting the name of the petitioner by showing relationship with her projected father. Similarly, the petitioner’s name along with her projected husband appeared in the Voter List of 2017 at Exhibit-4, which bore no relevance as her relation is shown with her projected husband and not with the projected father. Though the petitioner produced and exhibited certified copy of NRC 1951 at Exhibit1, the Gaon Panchayat Certificate at Exhibit-3 and the certificate issued by the Lat Gaonburah at Exhibit-5 to show linkage with her projected father, however, the said Certificates rendered itself inadmissible in evidence, inasmuch as, the authors/issuing authorities were not examined to prove the certificates and the contents thereof. Besides the 5(five) exhibited documents, the petitioner also produced Voter List of 1981 where names of one Suren Sarkar and Kasturi Sarkar, projected as the father and mother and petitioner’s name in the Voter List of 2016 are reflected under No.114 Jonai LAC. However, the said two documents are without any relevance as the same were not proved or exhibited.
