Heard Mr. R. Baruah, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. N. Phukan, learned Standing Counsel for the Secondary Education Department.

The present petition has been filed for apparent non compliance of this Court’s order in WP(C) No.6209/2012 on 03.12.2016 by which this Court has passed the following order-

“The State Level Committee shall make an objective assessment of the competing claims of the petitioner and the respondent No.6 in its next meeting and thereafter take a final decision as to who between the two is more eligible for compassionate appointment by keeping in mind the guidelines laid down in this regard by the State Government.”

It has been stated that the authorities have not placed the case of the petitioner before the SLC.

In that view of the matter, the aforesaid Court’s order is reiterated, the matter be placed before the SLC within a period of 3(three) months from the date of receipt of a
