Heard Mr. M. Kasar, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Ms. Inaholi, learned Government Advocate for the State respondents.
The petitioner’s prayer is for exemption from paying Toll tax/Entry tax on footwear items. The Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Nagaland vide Notification No.MA-125/2015(Pt.III) dated 18/4/2019 states that the Government have decided that paying of Toll tax/Entry tax on footwear items shall be exempted.
In view of the above, the writ petition has become infructuous. The writ petition is accordingly disposed off as infructuous.
