By this application under section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the petitioner – Sri Rajen Choudhury has prayed for pre-arrest bail apprehending arrest in connection with Biswanath Chariali Police Station Case No.141/2016 under Section 420/468/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner was granted interim bail with a direction to appear before the Investigating Officer and also the case diary was directed to be produced.
