Heard Mr. M Sarma, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. A Deka, learned Standing counsel, Education Department for the respondent Nos. 1 to 4 and Mr. R C Saikia, learned counsel for the respondent No. 5.
On instructions, Mr. M Sarma, learned counsel for the petitioner submits before this Court that during the pendency of this case, the respondent No. 5 has already been appointed as the regular Headmistress of Hengerabari High School, Guwahati, Kamrup(M) after proper selection in terms of the Assam Secondary Education (Provincialized) Service Rules, 2003 as amended in 2012.
Accordingly, this writ petition being infructuous stands dismissed.
