ORDER

The Applicant Bank filed the present OA against Defendant for recovery of a total sum of Rs.21,2OF76l- (Rupees Twenty One Lakhs Twenty Thousand Five Hundred and Seventy Six only) with subsequent interest @ 12.55o/o p.a from date of application till the date of realization.

As per the averments in the application, the Applicant Bank states that defendant herein is a Government employee availed personal loan of Rs.21,98,000/- vide loan account no.42213L89924 and agreed to repay the loan in 72 equated monthly installments of Rs.43,603/-. After availing the loan facilities, the defendants failed to comply the terms of sanction, hence the applicant bank classified the account as NPA and legal notice was issued on 30.08.2025. Inspite of several requests and demands, the defendants did not clear the outstanding. Hence this OA.

Defendant was set exparte. To substantiate the case of the Appricant Bank, AW.1, officiar of the Appricant Bank was examined and he exhibited rerevant documents as Ex.A1 to A.5. In view of the above, I hold that the Applicant Bank has established their claim made in the oA against the Defendant and hence the Appricant Bank is entifled to recover the claim made in the OA with future interest and costs.

B. In the result, the present OA is allowed with costs, as under: The Defendant is liable to pay to the Applicant Bank a total sum of Rs.21,2o,576l- (Rupees Twenty one Lakhs Twenty Thousand Five Hundred and Seventy Six only) with subsequent interest @ L2.55o/o p.a from date of apprication tiil the date of rearization.
