05.08.2022 The registry has placed this matter with petition for substitution of the name of the applicant filed by Ld. Counsel Shri Prashant Kumar on behalf of applicant bank. The substitution petition filed by the applicant with a prayer for substitution of the name of the original applicant bank i.e. Corporation Bank since now it has been amalgamated to bank of Union Bank of India. The applicant has annexed a Gazette Notification dated 4.3.2020 issued by Government ofIndia. No one is present for the defendants. Since the amalgamation is a statutory process and no prejudice will be caused to the defendants if the prayer of the applicant is so allowed. Accordingly the prayer is allowed. Accordingly this substitution petition stands disposed off.
A Copy of order be sent to the parties and Ld. Recovery Officer for necessary action.
