The matter is taken up for hearing by way of a praecipe filed by the Appellants for seeking urgent relief.
The Appellants were directed to deposit a sum of ₹10 lakhs as pre-deposit for entertaining the appeal vide order dated 10.01.2024. The Appellants produced the demand draft for a sum of ₹3 lakhs within the time stipulated and the balance a sum of ₹7 lakhs was to be paid on 12.02.2024.
The Ld. Counsel appearing for the Appellants submits that the Appellants have applied for an extension of time to deposit the amount of ₹7 lakhs toward which they have deposited a sum of ₹3 lakhs and the balance of ₹4 lakhs is to be deposited.
The Appellants asked for a four-week time to pay the amount and considering the facts and circumstances, the Appellants are directed to deposit the balance a sum of ₹4 lakhs within four weeks. Post on 12.03.2024 for reporting compliance.
Interim order if any shall continue till the next date of hearing.
