The Appellants were directed to deposit a sum of ₹10 lakhs as pre-deposit vide order dated 10.01.2024. The Appellants were granted one extension of time to pay the balance a sum of ₹4 lakhs by 11.03.2024. They applied for an extension of time on 11.03.2024 seeking four weeks extension to pay the balance a sum of ₹4 lakhs. Vide order dated 12.02.2024, the Appellants were granted four weeks to pay the amount but now they are asking for another four weeks which is not possible to be granted.
The Ld. Counsel appearing for the Appellants submits that a sum of ₹1 lakh would be paid today by RTGS and for the balance ₹3 lakhs the extension is sought. As the last and final chance the Appellants are granted ten days to pay the balance amount and no further extension of time would be granted.
Post on 22.03.2024 for reporting compliance.
