Towards the payment of the last instalment of pre-deposit, ₹30 lakhs was to be paid on or before 11.09.2023. The Appellants were granted an extension of time to pay the pre-deposit earlier too. despite that, they could not pay the amount on time. The Ld. Counsel appearing for the Appellant produced a demand draft which is dated 11.09.2023 but it was stated that the demand draft could not be produced yesterday as the parties were coming from Surat. Hence, an extension of one day delay in depositing the amount is sought.
