The matter is taken up for hearing by way of Praecipe filed by the Appellant for seeking urgent relief.

The Appellants have filed M.A. in these Appeals for an extension of time to carry out the amendment to the written statements which were allowed by this Tribunal.

There was a direction to carry out the amendment within two weeks, but the applicants state that files have been transferred in view of the Government notification redefining pecuniary jurisdiction from the Debts Recovery Tribunal-II, Ahmedabad to Debts Recovery Tribunal-I, Mumbai, and hence, all the files are at present lying in D.R.T.-I, Mumbai. The Ld. Counsel appearing for the Appellants requests that the Appellants be permitted to carry out the amendment to the written statements from the D.R.T.-I, Mumbai before the files are sent back to Ahmedabad for the reason that the operation of the G.O. stands stayed by the Hon’ble Bombay High Court, Aurangabad Bench.

The prayer in the applications is allowed and the amendment to the written statements shall be carried out from the D.R.T.-I, Mumbai within two weeks from the date of receipt of the order.
