This matter is coming up today for compliance of statutory deposit.

As per Common order dated 5.9.2023 passed in IA 505/2022 (waiver) in AIR (SA) 356/2022, IA 506/2022 (Waiver) in AIR (SA) 357/2022 and IA 507/2022 (Waiver) in AIR (SA) 357/2022, appellant has to deposit a sum of Rs.2,06,43,469/- on or before 20.9.2023 and the matter posted to 21.9.2023 for compliance. However, appellant without complying the said order filed IA 366/2023 seeking extension of time and specifically sought four weeks time for compliance of conditional order dated 5.9.2023. That application was considered and allowed on 25.9.2023 and time was extended for deposit of amount till 23.10.2023 and posted to 26.10.2023 for compliance. As chairperson was on leave on 26.10.2023, it is posted to this date for compliance.

Today, without complying the conditional order, advocate for appellant sought further time and submitted that another petition is filed for extension of time. But, no such application is registered or placed along with the matter. Once time of four weeks is extended only on request of appellant, I am not inclined to grant any further time.
