I have joined as Chairperson of DRAT today. It has been brought to my notice that an order dated 16.02.2022 passed in Civil Appeal Nos.13021303/2022 has been received from the Hon’ble Supreme Court on 11.03.2022 in which the Hon’ble Court has directed this Tribunal to finally decide and dispose of this matter at the earliest, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of the order.
Since there was no Chairperson in this Tribunal from 1.11.2021, the matter already stands listed on 28.4.2022. Now in view of the direction of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, the matter is to be decided at the earliest, let notice be issued to the parties for 30.3.2022 for final hearing.
