This matter is posted today for dismissal as the Petitioner/Appellant was absent on the last two hearings i.e. 04.04.2022 and 11.04.2022. As per the conditional Order dated 23.01.2020, Petitioner/Appellant shall deposit Rs. 6 Lakhs in two equal instalments, to comply with statutory deposit. Record reveals that Petitioner/Appellant complied with 1st part of conditional order. Thereafter, Hon’ble High Court of Madras in CRP No.1225/2020 and CMP No.6653/2020 granted interim stay till 09.04.2020.
In spite of sufficient opportunity being granted, Petitioner/Appellant neither produced extension of stay Order of Hon’ble High Court of Madras nor complied with 2nd part of the conditional Order dated 23.01.2020.
To give an opportunity to the Petitioner/Appellant, the matter is kept under the caption “for dismissal”. In spite of that, Petitioner/Appellant evinced no interest in prosecuting the Application. Therefore, Appeal A.IR: 366/2019 is rejected for noncompliance of Order dated 23.01.2020. Consequently, all the Applications are dismissed.
