This matter is posted today for arguments as last chance. In spite of that, advocate for appellant sought further time on the ground that he could not get instructions from party, as party met with an accident.
Advocate for respondents opposed to any further adjournment and submitted that appellant is taking time on one ground or other as interim relief is in his favour and in spite of posting the matter to shorter dates, no steps were taken by appellant to proceed further. It is further submitted that on 21.9.2022, it is made clear that interim order will not be extended if appellant fails to proceed with the case today. Therefore, if adjournment is granted, interim relief may not be extended.
Considering the submissions and order dated 21.9.2022, matter is posted to 16.11.2022 for arguments, without extending interim relief.
