This appeal is coming up today for reporting compliance of statutory deposit.
As per Common Order dated 12.12.2022 passed in IA 132/2022(Waiver) in AIR 67/2022 and IA 133/2022(waiver) in AIR 68/2022, appellants shall deposit a sum of Rs.42,03,905/- on or before 26.12.2022 and failure to deposit the same would result in dismissal of appeal.
Advocate for appellants submitted that appellants have challenged the above said order before Hon’ble High Court of Madras, but no stay has been granted and sought for further time. As it is a conditional order, request for further time is refused.
Therefore, Appeal AIR 67/2022 is rejected, by giving effect to order dated 12.12.2022 for non compliance of statutory deposit.
