Icici Bank Limited versus Mr. Sukhvinder Singh and Ors.

This is an application seeking direction to the learned DRT for taking up the matter before it and order return of the original documents which is lying with it to the bank.

Learned counsel for the appellant submits that the matter stands settled and O.A stands withdrawn, and, therefore, the bank has to return the original documents to the borrower, but learned DRT is taking up only urgent matters and is not taking up the appellant’s application, which has now been listed for 06.01.2023. He, therefore, requests that the learned DRT may be directed to take up the applicant’s M.A. No.33/2022 on the next date and pass appropriate order.

Heard. Let the learned P.O., DRT take up the matter on the date fixed, i.e. 06.01.2023 and pass appropriate order regarding release of the original documents to the bank in accordance with law.
