In view of Notification No. 85/G-4/Genl.-I/DHC dated 21.08.2026, whereby the matters fixed for 27.08.2026 were directed to be taken up on 31.08.2026, the present matter is taken up today.

The present Petition has been filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, seeking transfer of the Divorce Petition bearing HMA No. 1006/2025, titled as “ Pankaj Singh vs. Poonam Raj”, pending before the Court of learned Principal Judge, Family Court, District-South, Saket Courts, New Delhi [ “ learned Trial Court ”], to the Court of the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, District-New Delhi, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi [“ learned transferee Court ”].

For the reasons as stated in the present Petition and considering the no objection accorded by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondent, HMA No. 1006/2025, titled as “ Pankaj Singh vs.
