In view of the fact that the lawyers are abstaining from work today, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties were specifically queried whether they are willing that the matter be taken up for hearing. Upon their consent, the present matter was taken up for hearing.

The present Rent Control Revision Petition, under Section 25B(8) of the Delhi Rent Control Act, 1958, seeks to challenge the Judgment dated 15.09.2025 passed by learned ARC-01, Central District, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi, passed in RC ARC No.42/2024.

Learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that the Affidavitcum-Undertaking dated 10.07.2026 has been filed by the Petitioners in compliance of the Order dated 12.05.2026. The contents of the said affidavits are as follows:

“1. That I am the petitioner in the above-noted case and well conversant with facts of the case and also competent to swear the present affidavit.

That I shall vacate the demised premises on or before 30.09.2026 and shall handover the vacant peaceful possession of the same to the respondent No. 1 to 3.

I undertake to pay the use and occupation charges @ Rs.25,000/- per month and also pay the statutory charges i.e. electricity bill to the concerned authority.”

Keeping in mind the said affidavit and the undertaking therein, this Court is of the view that no further Orders are required to be passed in the present Petition.

Accordingly, the present Petition is disposed of in terms of the aforesaid Affidavit-cum-Undertaking. Pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.

It is made clear that in the event the undertaking is not honoured, the Respondents are at liberty to take such steps as are permissible under law, inter alia, restoration of the present proceedings.
