Heard the learned counsel for the appellant and the learned counsel representing the respondent nos.1 and 2.

This appeal seeks exception to an order dated 31.08.2026 passed by the learned Single Judge, whereby W.P.(C) 12527/2026 instituted by the appellant has been disposed of with the direction to the respondent to decide the representation said to have been filed by the appellant within a period of four weeks.

The submission of the learned counsel for the appellant is that cut-off date of 21.09.2026, as mentioned in the advisory issued in January, 2026 for switching over from FIPS 140-2 to FIPS 140-3, though is imminent, however the representation made by the petitioner against the said advisory way back in the month of June, 2026 has yet not been decided.
