Heard the learned counsel for the appellant.

The Registry has reported a delay of 237 days in filing the appeal (impugned order dated 11.07.2025) and a delay of 73 days in filing the appeal (impugned order dated 22.12.2025), both passed in W.P.(C) 10490/2023. The Registry has also reported a further delay of 21 days in refiling the appeal.

We have perused the application filed in support of the prayer for condonation of delay, where no explanation, even for the name sake has been offered by the appellant except that the appellant is a Government organization and that the matter had to be examined at various levels.

For the aforesaid reasons, we are not satisfied with the cause explained for condonation of delay. Accordingly, the application seeking condonation of delay of 237 days and a delay of 73 days in filing the appeal, is hereby dismissed.

Resultantly, the appeal is also stands dismissed along with pending applications.

At this juncture, learned counsel for the appellant states that the order of attachment has been passed for executing the Award made by the competent authority and requests that six weeks time may be granted to the appellant to comply with the Award.

Accordingly, having regard to the aforesaid facts, we direct that subject to the compliance of the order passed by the competent authority under Minimum Wages Act within six weeks from today, the attachment order shall stand deferred and in case the order of the competent authority is not complied with in six weeks time, all possible measures shall be available to be taken against the appellant.
