Through the present appeal, the appellants pray as under :

“Under the circumstances, explained above it is humbly prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to enhance the compensation as stated allowing the statutory benefits such as solatium additional amount, and Interest under Section 28 and Interest on solatium; and by setting aside the impugned order dated 16.10.2012 passed by Ld. Lower Court.

To pass any other order or directions, as deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case in favour of the Appellants and against the Respondents; and

It is prayed accordingly.”

Learned counsel for the parties do not dispute that the issue has already been decided by the judgment dated 26.09.2025, passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in the case of Bed Ram v. UOI & Anr and other connected matters : 2025:DHC:8677 .

In view of the above, the present appeal is disposed of in terms
