The present applications have been filed seeking disposal of the appeal in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties before Samadhan , Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre, vide Settlement Agreement dated 27.03.2026.

Mr. Sudhir Nandrajog, learned senior counsel appearing for the appellant/Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd., submits that in terms of the settlement, Mr. Nitin Kumar Jain has already paid a sum of Rs.11,00,000/tolegal heirs of Mr. Bhikhari Pandit , the details of which are mentioned in paragraph 2 of the Settlement Agreement. It is further submitted that the legal heirs of Mr. Bhikhari Pandit were present during the mediation proceedings and have accepted the said amount. The Demand Drafts have already been handed over to the legal heirs by Mr. Nitin Kumar Jain .

He further submits that in terms of the Settlement Agreement, nothing further remains to be paid and all claims of the respondents stand fully satisfied. Mr. Nitin Kumar Jain , is present in person and has handed over his gate pass.

The Settlement Agreement is taken on record, and the partiesshall remain bound by its terms.

Learned counsel for the appellant/Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltdfurther submits that in view of the settlement, the amount deposited by the appellant/Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd. before the Commissioner under the Employees’ Compensation Act may be directed to be released in favour of the appellant.

Accordingly, it is directed that any amount deposited by the a appellant/Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd. before the Commissioner, Employees’ Compensation Act, along with accrued interest, be released to the appellant/Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd.

In view of above,the applications are disposed of.
