1. The petitioner is filed for the following reliefs:

“a) issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ directing Respondents No. 1 to 4 to provide immediate and continuous police protection to the Petitioners from Respondent No. 5; AND

¶14

b) direct Respondents No. 2 to 4 to take immediate steps to ensure that the Petitioners are not traced, harassed, stalked, or coerced by Respondent No. 5 or any person acting on her behalf; AND

¶15

c) restrain Respondent No. 5 from visiting or contacting the Petitioner No. 1, directly or indirectly, or from entering the Petitioner’s college or PG accommodation; AND

¶16

d) direct Respondent Nos. 1 to 4 to ensure that the Petitioner No. 1 is able to attend college and reside in peace and dignity, without fear of interference; AND

¶17

e) pass such other or further order(s) as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice.”

The submission on behalf of respondent no.5 is placed on record that she has no objection if petitioner no.1 stays with her father or brother. According to respondent no.5, no hindrance whatsoever is being created.

If the petitioners have any further grievance, they shall be at liberty to take appropriate recourse in accordance with law.

At this stage, with these observations, the petition stands disposed of.

So far as the grievance raised by respondent no.5 that the loan which was obtained for the study purpose of petitioner no.1 will have to be paid by the father of petitioner no.1 is concerned, respondent no.5 shall be at liberty to take appropriate recourse in that regard.

The petition was confined to the extent of its prayer. The same stands mitigated, therefore, no further directions are required.

All rights and contentions qua that effect are left open.
