The present Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking issuance of a Writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce Ms.X, the niece of the petitioner.

Pursuant to our order dated 01.07.2026, Ms.X has appeared before us in person. We have interacted with her in detail and she states that though she, out of her own free will and volition, had left
