One Ms. Teli Yalgar underwent one cosmetic surgery i.e. abdomen Liposuction and fat transfer on 15.10.2024 at Dezire Clinic, Safdarjung Development Area, New Delhi-110016.

According to family members of Ms. Teli Yalgar, the abovesaid surgery was conducted in unprofessional and negligent manner, which resulted in unfortunate death of the abovesaid young girl, in her twenties.

Based on report lodged by the brother of the deceased, FIR No. 69/2025 dated 30.01.2025, registered by P.S. Safdarjung Enclave, for commission of offences under Sections 106/3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 .

Learned Standing Counsel (Crl) for the State assures that there would not be any further delay in the matter and delay is purely on account of the fact that the Medical Board has yet not been constituted. 9. The present petition is disposed of with the direction that the concerned Medical Director, Lok Nayak Hospital shall take immediate steps and would constitute a Medical Board , if not already constituted in terms of communication dated 19.02.2026 forwarded by Health and Family Welfare Department, GNCTD, Delhi.
