The present petition alleges wilful disobedience of the orders dated 21.01.2025 and 06.05.2025 passed in W.P.(C) 15127/2022.

Vide the aforesaid order dated 21.01.2025, directions were issued mandating expeditious action to verify documents for initiating reference proceedings under Sections 30-31 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. Subsequently, on 06.05.2025, a clarificatory order was passed stating that the Land Acquisition Collector (LAC) was the appropriate and competent authority to initiate the reference and liberty was granted to the petitioner to approach the LAC for the said purpose.
