Sh Lalit Kumar Proprietor of M S World Wide Impex Vs Indusind Bank through Its Chairman Namely Mr.Sunil Mehta & Ors.

The present petition alleges wilful disobedience of directions contained in the order dated 22.12.2025, passed in W.P.(C) 2456/2024. The operative directions therein are as under:

“ 9. Accordingly, subject to maintaining a minimum balance of Rs.18,00,000/-, the Petitioner is permitted to operate its bank account for its day-to-day business. ”

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent / bank is not permitting the petitioner to operate its bank account despite the aforesaid directions.

Issue notice.

Learned counsel, as aforesaid, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the only impediment to compliance with the aforesaid directions is that the KYC of the petitioner has not yet been completed.

It is pointed out that during the field visit to the office of the petitioner, nobody was found at the said office.

After some hearing, it is assured and undertaken that expeditious steps will be taken for completion of KYC formalities qua the petitioner. The petitioner shall cooperate with the respondent for the said purpose. The respondent shall also be entitled to conduct appropriate field visits, after advance intimation to the petitioner through e-mail.

Upon the KYC formalities being completed, the respondent shall allow the petitioner to operate the bank account in terms of the aforesaid directions contained in the order dated 22.12.2025.

Let an endeavour be made to complete the KYC formalities within a period of 10 days from today after conclusion of the field visit.

In case there has been change in the address of the petitioner, the same shall also be forthwith communicated by the petitioner to the
