The present contempt petition has been filed, alleging wilful violation and deliberate disobedience of the order dated 05^th June, 2026 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) 8087/2026 .

Perusal of aforesaid order dated 05^th June, 2026 shows that direction was issued to the respondents that the decision, on the representation of the petitioner-Institute, shall be communicated to the Affiliating Body of the

petitioner, as well as to the State Department of the Higher Education, and shall also be updated on the website immediately.

Today, learned counsel appearing for the respondents has handed over to this Court the letters dated 08^th December, 2012 and 05^th March, 2013. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner itself vide letter dated 08^th December, 2012 had requested to discontinue the recognition of Primary Teachers Certificate (“P.T.C”) Course.

He further submits that vide communication dated 05^th March, 2013, issued by the National Council for Teacher Education (“NCTE”), the request of the petitioner for withdrawal of recognition was accepted and the Fixed Deposit Receipt (“FDR”) had also been returned to the petitioner.
