Applicant seeks extension of interim bail which has been granted to him for a period of one week, to be reckoned from the date of his release.

The interim bail had been granted for the reason that his wife has to undergo a surgery for umbilical hernia .

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is going to be admitted in Mahalaxmi Hospital, Ghaziabad, today itself, and submits that the applicant would be satisfied if the extension is granted for a period of ten days only. He submits that he would not seek any further extension on any ground whatsoever.

Keeping in mind the overall facts of the case and the previous order dated 03.07.2026 and also the reasons assigned, the application is allowed and the interim bail is extended for a period of another ten days, reckoned from today on the same terms and conditions.

SHO/IO would, however, verify the fact whether the wife of the applicant has been admitted in the abovesaid stated hospital today or not and in case the abovesaid assertion made by the learned counsel for the applicant is found to be incorrect, the prosecution would be at liberty to file application immediately before this Court seeking cancellation of the bail for misleading the Court.

The application is disposed of in aforesaid terms.
