The accused/applicant seeks interim bail for a period of 10 days in case FIR No. 305/2025 of Police Station Vasant Kunj, North for offence under Section 376/506/509 IPC read with Section 6/12 of POCSO Act.

Broadly speaking, the interim bail for a period of 10 days is sought by the accused/applicant in order to attend marriage of his brother. Prosecution strongly objects to grant of interim bail in view of the seriousness of allegations and stage of trial.

In the previous call, it was proposed that the accused/applicant can be sent in custody from morning till evening so that he may attend marriage of his brother. Learned APP was agreeable provided the accused/applicant bears the expenses for taking the jail van and guards. But learned senior counsel took passover to obtain instructions.

In this second call, with consent of both sides, this application is disposed of directing that on 25.04.2026 at about 08:00 am, the accused/applicant in custody of appropriate number of guards shall be taken from the jail to the place of marriage as reflected in the marriage invitation card Annexure P-11 and from there, he shall be brought back to Delhi by 08:00 pm and that the expenditure for the said visit shall be borne by the accused/applicant after he returns to the jail.

Copy of this order be sent to the concerned Jail Superintendent for compliance.
