Counsel for the applicant thereupon sought permission to withdraw the application, requesting that the applicant be treated at a Government Hospital. By way of the present application, the applicant is seeking grant of interim bail for a period of two months on medical grounds and for attending of partition proceedings qua his late father’s property, in case arising out of FIR bearing no. 292/2024, registered at Police Station Bhalswa Dairy, Delhi, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 21/29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (hereafter ‘NDPS Act’ ).

Verification report has been handed over to the Court, and as per said report, no consultation was given to the applicant, and no family member of the applicant had visited the Hospital in question and the Hospital has expressed that its name appears to have been misused.

This Court will be informed by the concerned Jail Superintendent, whether the applicant has been taken to AIIMS or not, along with complete medical record pertaining to the applicant.
