The petitioner has filed the petition for the following reliefs:

“ a ) issue writ, order or direction in the nature of thereby directing the mandamus respondents not to damage, by any means what so ever, the Muslim Kabristan/ Grave Yard, and the graves therein, at Khasra 289 / 290 Village Mandoli, Delhi

b ) issue writ, order or direction in the nature of thereby directing the SHO, mandamus Police Station Harsh Vihar, Delhi, not to act partisan, and not interfere in the religious affairs of the Muslims in Village Mandoli Delhi, qua maintenance of Grave Yard/ Muslim Kabristan at the Village Mandoli. mandamus respondents to rebuilt the boundary wall around Khasra No. 289 and 290 in VillageMandoli Delhi, where the Muslim Kabristan / Grave Yard, exists;

d ) issue writ, order or direction in the nature of thereby directing the mandamus respondents to ensure that no yagaya kund or any other kind of hindrance is established in the maidaan / ground where Eid namaz is performed, at Khasra 289/ 290 Village Mandoli, Delhi.

e) issue writ, order or direction in the nature of thereby directing the mandamus respondents to ensure that no Mela in future, is organized at Khasra 289/ 290 Village Mandoli, Delhi, in and around the Muslim Kabristan/ graveyard

f) issue writ, order or direction in the nature of 0 thereby directing the mandamus respondents to ensure that atmosphere of silence and cleanliness is restored at Khasra 289 / 290 Village Mandoli, Delhi, in and around the Muslim Kabristan / graveyard .”

Ms. Prabhsahay Kaur, learned counsel appears for the respondent Delhi Development Authority (DDA). She, on instructions, submits that Khasra No. 289-290 of Village Mandoli, Delhi is being demarcated and the DDA shall undertake the necessary exercise of erecting the boundary walls.

The Court, thus, deems it appropriate to dispose of the instant writ petition granting liberty to the DDA to take necessary exercise in order to demarcate the Khasra No. 289-290 and to erect the boundary walls.

With the aforesaid directions, the petition, along with pending applications, stands disposed of.

¶20

If the petitioners’ grievance is not mitigated, they shall be at liberty to take appropriate remedy in accordance with law.
