The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:

“(a) Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction quashing the communication dated 05.03.2026 of the Respondent No.2–Central Transmission Utility of India Limited threatening cancellation of connectivity of the Petitioner’s project and consequent encashment of bank guarantee security;

(b) Extend the timelines for connectivity and consequent timelines for financial closure to align with the expected date of commissioning of the transmission assets and grant of actual connectivity to the petitioner, which is presently stated to be 31.12.2026.”

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been constrained to approach this Court since the deadline for revocation of 300 MW connectivity granted to the petitioner and invocation of the bank guarantee is 12^th March, 2026 and the petition filed by the petitioner before the respondent no.1/ Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (hereinafter

The present writ petition along with the pending application is disposed of accordingly.
