The present Petition has been filed by the Petitioner assailing the correctness of the order dated 08.08.2024 passed by the learned Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi [hereinafter referred to as >Tribunal?] in O.A. No.2931/2023.

The Petitioner aspires to be a Civil Servant and appeared in the Civil Services Examination-2022 [hereinafter referred to as >Examination ?] conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. He applied for the Examination under the reserved category for PwD (Deaf and hard of hearing) candidates.

The Petitioner secured 613 marks, whereas the last selected candidate secured 635 marks in the Examination, however, the cut-off

The Petitioner?s case was considered under PwD, however, the Petitioner failed to secure the required marks. Even otherwise, Medical Board was constituted by the Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi and All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi who confirmed vide reports dated 08.02.2023 and 14.02.2023 respectively, that the Petitioner is not a person with benchmark disability.

In these circumstances, no ground to interfere. Hence, the present Petition stands dismissed.
